Hereford Sires

Purchased at the 2022 Yalgoo Sale, we have long wanted to introduce Mace into our program for his carcase attributes. We are excited to have the consistency of the Yalgoo female program into our herd.

Broadway topped the 2024 sale to Marwarra. A very complete bull with heavy muscle and calving credentials. We used 2 of the T066 sons, as they are so easy on the eye and have great data.

The Houston bull offers a great pedigree, high performance across the board, as well as physical presence. From great calving ease to high growth coupled with muscle shape. The daughters are very soft and are at the top of the V drop. I like the extra frame and scale of the bulls with superior top line. We used 2 sons over the heifers.

Used as an outcross sire. We used 2 of the sons in the sale to capture their frame and great structure. Cosmetically correct is a nice bonus. As the sons have matured, I like the depth of body they are developing. Potential stud sires with excellent data, too.

Injemira Robert Redford Q287 was purchased (2021) in conjunction with Ardno Herefords and ABS Global for an Australian record price of $160,000. Redford, for our programme, is exactly the type of balanced perfection we are striving to breed. A sire that moderates birthweight, so is easily usable for all heifers, yet has growth and carcase traits in the very top of the breed. He has been selected for the Super Sires programme. Indexes in the top 1%, Ema top 1% with birthweight in the top 15% and Gestation length in the top 5%. A heifer’s first calf that ended up the heaviest bull of his cohort, all with the added bonus of perfect cosmetics and soft skin and hair.
